Remember, remember, the fifth of November.
Reyes almost lost his 2nd match, which would have meant elimination for him at the group stage. He's really toeing the line man. what happened to the picture perfect precision of his graceful play? what I saw were mere occasional flashes of his mastery..
Dad's gone to PNG for work. But fortunately this time it's only for a month. hopefully he'll be stayin in Spore for Xmas this year.
A new week awaits.

When you browse through your alma mater's annual magazine (notice it's alma mater mag and not sch mag anymore), and you suddenly find your peers amongst the teachers' pages, instead of the class/student pages, you know time has really flown by..

took tompok and putih to the vet on sat. consultation and a blood test, to determine their suitability for sterilization op. they're pretty healthy, save for their kidneys, which are slightly off the 'healthy range'. gotta put them on a lower salt diet, which is a challenge.
jus when i thought i had to cough up quite abit for this round of visits to the vet, there was an article on the sunday times today about a cat owner who was willing to fork out $20k for her cat. man.. im certainly not there, be it in the financial or the will department.
but well, a pet is still a responsibility, so there are some things u gotta do. and beyond that, a relationship is actually established between pet and owner. and this a reason why people keep and don't keep pets. in respect of the latter, when the pets die, emotions would definitely come into the picture.
i guess, be it in human relationships or owner-pet relationships, there will always be a certain amount of vulnerability and commitment involved. but these, inter alia, give such relationships value and worth =)

my 1st post in ages (well, the one immediately below this post was by del =))
lest this page degenerates into a wasteland. no it shan't!
no one said this phase of life was gonna be easy. it ain't. yet, sometimes you just need to steal those precious moments to keep your head in check, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and boy o boy, just appreciate the life God has given you.
imf/world bank meetings just ended. a great experience. hours were long. some tough situations had to be ploughed through. but thank God, i made it. and in retrospect, it was an unforgettable experience. literally, once in a lifetime. doubt it'll ever happen in spore again.
will be posting pics soon.
wine at friends' with dad.
